Coracles were used in ancient times to navigate the rivers, lakes and seas of Ireland. This fascinating short film shows how they were made and used. In ‘Conor Kelly and The Four Treasures of Eirean’, Conor rides in an enchanted coracle down the famous River Boyne on several occasions.
I tried to use a coracle once, but ended up walking along the river bed pushing it more often than riding in it LOL ๐
