I’m going to be on the radio tomorrow!

On-Air Radio Panel

I’m going to be talking to Joe Finnegan on Shannonside Northern Sound tomorrow about 1020am Irish time, talking about what it’s like to be a carer to Carys.

If you want to join me, here is the link.

I’ve never been on the radio before… feeling nervous already!

  1. Awesome! How exciting! Both for yourself as you and also for you as the voice of your daughter! What a wonderful opportunity for you both! ❀ Best wishes! πŸ˜€

    • I recommend you stay in bed lol! I’ll ask for a recording… unless it goes really badly, lol! But I think they put archives up on the site, I’ll find out and send you the link. Thanks Γ‰ilis!

There is an Android app named ‘Positive Affirmation’. This is what I just read:
I feel very positive and confident.
I gather strength from the storm.
I follow my own star and my own inner compass.
May Eamonn’s tips and these words help you tomorrow morning.

  4. Good luck hope it all goes well for you, when I did interviews I did the following:

think of the loveliest things about your child / being a carer that people really need to know, you are the expert! what are the 5 key points you want to put over, write them down as bullet points, have them in front of you take your time breathe and speak slowly have a glass of water nearby most listeners will be supportive so its a great opportunity to communicate with them

    hope these tips help
